Have you always felt restless with your phone beeping Low battery?

Well @ Adcom HiTech we bring solution to your everyday problem. Solution which indicates how to avoid these situations maximizing your smart usage!
Some quick easy steps that will make your smartphone battery last longer.

1) Always turn off these apps/features when not in use:

  • GPS Tracking: Limit the use of triangulating your position via radio waves and satellites. and use it when its necessary for navigation and location services. This way much more battery will be saved that the usual.
  • Bluetooth and Wi-fi – Use these options when needed as these features over consume your battery.
  • Vibration function. Turn off the vibration feature
  • Key tones/ Ringtones: Switching off Keytones and setting a low ringtone  can be a little bonus of your battery
  • Notifications and syncing: Turn off these options when not in use as the constant updating and displaying of messages consumes a good deal of energy.

2) Power Down: This is not the perfect option always. But can be useful in some situation for ex: While you phone is passive while you sleeping.

3) Minimize the usage of flash: Restrict the usage of flash limited as they are powerful which consume lot of energy, especially when multiple shots are taken in a row. In fact, same goes for the camera as well.

4) Lower your screen brightness: Decreasing the screen brightness, almost more than 50% battery can be saved. Also consider setting the display brightness to adjust automatically.

5) Close the applications: Most of the time, some of the apps runs in background until they are opened which in turn results in consuming battery. Shut down those apps which are not in use, including non essential apps running in the background.

6) Phone calls only: When in need of battery, avoid playing games, watching video, scrolling through pictures, and browsing the Internet, they will eat up all your power. If you only have a sliver of battery life left then save it for phone calls. Avoid Skype and other forms of video chatting.

7) Don’t search for a signal: Again this might be not a preferred option often. Search networks will also consume power. Your phone will continually search for a signal in areas with poor reception. Either turn the phone off, switch it to airplane mode or think about purchasing a signal amplifier for better reception in dead zones.

8) Keep it out of the heat: Don’t place your phone near hot things or in hot temperature. There is an optimum temperature range cell phones function at. This helps your battery life.

9) Limit the screen timeout. Most cell phone screens will stay lit for a specified period of time after receiving input such as a swipe or tap. Set the timeout to the shortest available in your settings so the display will essentially go into a sleep mode when not in use.

10) Update apps regularly. While not always the case, many apps are often updated to increase their battery efficiency and limit the power consumption. Switch on automatic updates or download them manually if you want greater control over the updating process.
Follow these simple steps and avoid the battery draining situations with the most essential gadget of the Tech world!
